"The JHU NHLBI center contracted with Integrated Analysis in February 2008 to provide a beginning-to-end bioinformatics suite for proteomics. Since then, PASS Suite has been used to store, search, and query over 4000 MS files covering half-a-dozen projects, both for users within our lab and for our collaborators. PASS Suite provided us with pre-built but completely interactive biomarker reports (cross-sectional and longitudinal reports) that summarized gigabytes worth of MS data across all our technical replicates, fractions, biological replicates, and projects. The reports queried the PASS data warehouse within seconds. Our collaborators have then gone on to validate several of these identified potential biomarkers via Eliza assays. We are continuing to process more projects' data through PASS (now called PASS Suite) and we are increasing the number of users (within lab and outside of lab) that are now using PASS Suite for their biomarker discovery and analysis needs."
